Ms. Hela Mehdi Senior Clinical Dietitian
Hela has worked in HGH since 2005 as an adult dietitian in the surgical wards including, bariatric surgery wards and clinics. She has also worked in the ICU in various wards such as medical, cardiac trauma and surgical intensive care unit. She offers experience in geriatrics, burns, endocrine, renal, psychiatry plastic ENT and has worked in the Women Hospital Oncology Department. Over the last six years, Hela has provided coverage for the medical ward caring for a number of wound and pressure ulcer patients.
She has participated in the advancing practice through the nutrition care process and international dietetics and nutrition terminology workshop.
She has also participated in a project called the ’’Smart Weight” project and different community engagement activities in Qatar.
Ms Hela also holds a BSc degree in dietetics and nutrition which was earned in 2000 from the Faculty of Science and Nutrition Technician of Public Health Tunisia.
